  3. 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  4. 1 tsp finely chopped chopped ginger

  6. 1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
  7. 1/4 cup finely chopped french beans
  8. 1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
  9. 1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
  10. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  11. 2 tsp soy sauce
  12. 1 tsp regular vinegar
  13. as per taste Salt
  14. 4 cups water
  15. 2 tsp finely chopped cilantro (coriander leaves)
  16. 5 tsp corn starch dissolved in 3tsp of water to make slurry
  17. as required Some fried noodles

Instructions to make Veg manchow soup

  1. First chop all the veggies and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a wok and add the freshly chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute for a minute.
  3. Then add chopped onions and saute for a minute again.
  4. Now add freshly chopped cabbage, carrot,french beans, capsicum. Stir fry for about 3-4 mins. on medium to high flame.
  5. Add salt, black pepper powder and soy sauce. Stir again for 2-3mins.
  6. Add water or veggies stock to the stir fried veggies. Allow the soup to come to simmer on a medium flame.
  7. In the meantime if you have Cooked noodles then add sprinkle some cornflour and mix it well. Then deep fry in medium hot oil. Fry the noodles till they are crisp.
  8. Drain the fried noodles on a kitchen paper towel so that extra oil will be removed from deep fried noodles.
  9. Make corn slurry by taking 5 tsp of cornflour and add into 3 tsp of water then mix well. This slurry will be added to the soup and mix properly. Let the soup thicken.
  10. Now add regular vinegar to the soup and again mix.
  11. Switch off the flame. Add freshly chopped cilantro. Again mix well.
  12. Serve piping hot veg manchow soup topped with fried noodles. Enjoy
